"pigeons in venice" (soft launch #1)

The soft-launch of this site is turning out to be quite a lot of fun. The opportunity to revisit old paths for purposes other than nostalgia is always welcome, and tonight's path leads us to some pigeons that I saw while spending time in Venice. I particularly love the iridescence spreading across the breast of the pigeon in the lower left of the photo, and I feel fortunate to live in a time where a screen, composed of tiny bits of light-emitting "organic compound" (or so Wikipedia tells me) can reproduce nature's beauty in my lap.
